🙏 The Sacred Story of Jai Babu Rai Baba – Narhi, Ballia (U.P.) 🙏

🌸 The Legendary Story of Babu Rai Baba

Around a thousand years ago, Babu Rai Baba was known for his bravery and compassion. It is believed that one day, while returning home with his newlywed wife through a dense forest, he saw a ferocious lion attacking a sacred cow (Gau Mata). Without hesitation, Baba fought the lion with just a wooden stick in his hand.

Despite being wounded badly, Babu Rai Baba managed to kill the lion and save the cow. Covered in blood, he continued walking toward his village. When he crossed the Maghai River and stepped into the village, his strength gave out due to excessive bleeding, and he took his final breath right there.

The villagers, filled with grief and reverence, lit lamps, offered flowers, and began worshipping at that spot. Over time, that holy ground became the divine temple of “Brahma Devta – Babu Rai Baba.”
